Torfresma’s first headquarters and first brand.
1993
The name Torfresma originates from the initials TOR-Tornearia (Turning), FRES-Fresagem (Milling), MA-Manutenção (Maintenance), the first activities the company was involved in.
1995
Construction of a new headquarters in the industrial area of São Miguel do Oeste, an area of 140 m².
1997
Together with Aurora of São Miguel do Oeste, Torfresma made its first contribution in the meat industry developing an ergonomic chair for cut rooms. At this time, the company only had two employees.
1998
Torfresma received its first big order, twenty-two ergonomic chairs for Sadia de Chapecó - SC.
1999
Torfresma started implementing computers, acquired its first vehicle and with the increase in demand for orders came the first expansion. Due to the growth and direction of activities, it came to be called Industrial Torfresma.
2004
Keeping up with market growth Torfresma invests in new forms of technology, purchasing an industrial press brake machine.
2004
The administrative sector was founded.
2005
The area of operation was diversified with the creation of the dairy conservation area, specialized in the manufacture of milk coolers.

Implementation of the Projects Department, further solidifying the company’s capacity in the development of its equipment.

The waterjet cutting machine goes into operation facilitating and improving the finishing process.
2008
The company's largest project thus far was designed and executed. Equipment for the smoking cages, cut room and track at Sadia de Lucas de Rio Verde - MT was manufactured.
2009
Taking another step forward in search of innovation, Torfresma develops its own palletizing robot and begins specializing in robotics and automation.
2013
With two decades of technological innovations, restructured on a solid basis with three pillars: people, processes and technology. Torfresma already had 178 employees and works in almost all states of Brazil and abroad.
2014
Expansion of the Robotics and Automation sector. Torfresma expanded its Manufacturing area and acquired an aircraft to better serve its customers.
2015
Expansion to the international market, with representatives in strategic countries in Latin America.
2016
Another expansion of the manufacturing area.
2017
Torfresma received the Outstanding Performance ABB award, becoming the largest robot integrator in the Americas. The award is evaluated based on the year's growth rate and sales volume.
2017
Expansion in Latin America with new works in Chile, Mexico, Bolivia, and Uruguay.
2018
Torfresma expands its manufacturing area.
2021
New times, new brand. Torfresma’s new brand was designed with respect to our history and essence, and will accompany us in all challenges going forward.
